Raja Sajad Hussain
Managing Partner, Principal Consultant-Fire and Life Safety
Raja Sajad has over 23 years of experience out of which more than 19 years are in the field of Fire and Life Safety, primarily in the Middle East. In his carrier span he has successfully worked on more than 500 projects across the Globe ranging from largest Statue in the world to the largest Vertical Garden (production wise) in the world, High rises & super high-rises, Malls, Aircraft hangers, Airports, Warehouses, Schools, Oil refineries, Hotels & Hotel apartment’s, Residential & Commercial buildings and Industrial buildings. He is well-experienced with NFPA standards, IBC, UAE Fire Code, GCC Fire Code, SBC and QCD standards. As a member of Dubai Civil Defence Fire Code Council, he contributed towards writing and reviewing UAE Fire and Life Safety Code of Practice released in June 2011 and the September 2018 edition. He is also the Principal Technical Committee Member of NFPA 101, NFPA 5000, NFPA 105, NFPA 80, NFPA 58 & NFPA 72 Having established a strong technical foundation in his career, Raja Sajad has attained vast knowledge in fire and life safety, passive fire protection, active fire protection systems, life safety analysis and building construction.

Afschin Soleimani
Managing Partner, Principal
Consultant-Fire and Life Safety
Afschin has over 20 years of experience in the field of fire engineering and building code consulting. He has been greatly involved in developing fire strategies and engineered approaches, the review of existing buildings in relation to required level of upgrades and in fire investigations. He has worked on a wide variety of project sizes and sectors throughout the Middle-East and beyond.
Afschin obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Master of Engineering degree from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada.
